Mari Kurashvili

Mari Kurashvili was born in the republic of Georgia and immigrated to the United States in her early 20s to learn English and pursue studies in fine arts and Yoga. She began her study of Yoga for self-healing in NYC in 2013 and graduated from the City University of New York in 2014. After completing 500 hours of teacher training, she moved to VA where she works as a yoga teacher in various settings, from health clubs to hospitals. Mari combines her skills of connecting with clients on a deep personal level and utilizing her creativity. She has hosted numerous yoga retreats and worked for several years as a Yoga Teacher Training Administrator.

Health and wellness are her passions. Mari's main goal is to create supportive connections and positive communication with those around her. She is flexible, collaborative, and possesses strong customer service skills. She is also comfortable as a public speaker. Mari seeks to inspire and bring people together both on and off the yoga mat. Her life philosophy revolves around warm smiles and caring conversations, as she is a happy person who enjoys spreading happiness to others.
